First Look At Twist 21
Jul

Twist

Liz Crowther, Lewis Fernée and Michael Hodgson as Mrs Sowerberry, Oliver and Mr Sowerberry. Photo Johan Persson.

Creating the world of Charles Dickens, our eight actors (and three children alternating in the title role) play a total of 38 characters in Oliver Twist created for everyone aged six and over!

Mrs Corney transforms into Nancy, Mr Grimwig becomes Bullseye, nasty Fagin becomes good Mr Brownlow, and Mr Bumble rises to become (a rather comical) Mr Fang, the judge – all with the help of a costume change, a different hairstyle, or a reversed hat!

The production runs during the day until 5 August, and don’t forget, if you see the performance before Wednesday 26 July you can enter our drawing competition!
