Once you have joined the Access Online scheme, you will need to be logged into your account in order to book tickets.

Once you have joined the scheme, download our guide to booking your tickets online.

CAPTIONED PERFORMANCES

Captioned performances are similar to subtitles used in film. They are captioned live by Stagetext so that the text runs at the same speed as the actors on stage. If you have signed up for our pilot Access Online scheme, please ensure that, once you have logged on and selected the Captioned Performance, you select a seat indicated by a star to ensure you have best access to our captioning screens.

BSL INTERPRETATION

A BSL interpreter will interpret the spoken and heard aspects of the performance. If you have signed up for our pilot Access Online scheme, please ensure that, once you have logged on and selected the BSL Interpreted Performance, you select a seat indicated by a star to ensure you are seated in view of the interpreter.

AUDIO DESCRIBED PERFORMANCES

Audio description is a live verbal commentary providing information on the visual elements of a production as it unfolds. It describes action that is essential to the understanding of the story, as well as other visual information such as the style and design, sets, costumes, facial expressions and visual jokes, thereby giving blind or partially sighted individuals a richer experience.

If you have signed up for our pilot Access Online scheme, please ensure that, once you have logged on and selected the Audio Described performance, you select a seat indicated by a star.

TOUCH TOURS

Customers who would like to make use of the Touch Tour will be invited to attend a socially distanced talk from the audio describers from VocalEyes and company members of the show, who will introduce themselves and their characters through voice. Following this, customers will be given access to the stage to touch elements of the scenic design, which will be sanitised between guests. Please note: we are unable to offer the usual passing round of props and costumes for touching, given the need to sanitise between each customer, but we will have some items on display to be viewed by those with residual vision.

RELAXED PERFORMANCES

Relaxed Performances are designed to provide those with learning disabilities, those who are on the autism spectrum or have other sensory and communication needs who would benefit from a more relaxed environment, the opportunity to experience the production.

The aim is to offer a supportive, understanding and welcoming atmosphere for all. If you find that the environment of the theatre becomes overwhelming, we will have special arrangements in place to make your theatre experience as enjoyable as possible.
