We are thrilled to announce further casting for Pride and Prejudice, which returns to the Open Air Theatre to conclude the 2016 season ahead of our UK tour.

Benjamin Dilloway has been confirmed as Mr Darcy, with Tafline Steen taking the role of Elizabeth Bennet. We are also delighted to announce that Matthew Kelly will play Mr Bennet, joining the already announced Felicity Montagu as Mrs Bennet.

Benjamin recently appeared in Of Mice and Men (Birmingham Rep), The Silver Tassie (National Theatre), and If You Don’t Let Us Dream, We Won’t Let You Sleep (Royal Court). Tafline made her professional stage debut in King Charles III at the Almeida, reprising her role in the West End and on Broadway.

Matthew Kelly’s extensive stage career has included The Jew of Malta, Volpone and Love’s Sacrifice (RSC), Toast (Park Theatre and 59E59, New York), Educating Rita (Menier), Waiting for Godot with Ian McKellan and Roger Rees, and he won the Olivier Award for Best Actor for Of Mice and Men (Savoy). He is possibly still best remembered for presenting You Bet! and Stars in Their Eyes.

Further casting to be announced.
