Set within beautifully landscaped grounds, the theatre boasts its own picnic lawn, barbecue and the West End’s longest bar, stocked with all your favourite summer drinks - including plenty of Pimms!

Why not add to your ticket order a summer picnic a discounted voucher for the barbecue, or our Covered Dining?

Some FAQs

What happens if the performance is cancelled?

All advance orders of food and drink will be available at least until the advertised starting time of the performance for which they were booked regardless of whether or not the actual performance is subsequently cancelled or abandoned as the result of bad weather. Your ticket for the performance itself still benefits from our weather policy.

I'd like to arrange some corporate hospitality. Who is the best person to speak to?

Please e-mail Marianne Steele or call 020 7467 4957.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes, with the exception of Diners Cards. However, we cannot accept credit cards during the interval.

Is food available before every performance?

The barbecue is available before matinee and evening performances, including music, comedy and film events. Pre-ordered picnics can be booked for evening and 2:15 matinee performances. At the buffet, hot dishes are available before evening performances; cold dishes are available before evening and 2:15 performances. You can also bring your own picnics too, although those purchasing at the theatre may be given priority to the picnic tables. The buffet menu and pre-ordered picnics are not available prior to Sunday evening shows.

What time do the theatre gates open?

In order to prepare the venue and for the cast to complete their warm up, theatre gates open 90 minutes before evening performances and 60 minutes before matinees. For Re-imagined productions and Dinosaur Zoo, gates open 30 minutes prior to the performance (60 minutes prior to the 1.30pm Re-imagined Sunday performance).

Are food items nut-free?

We cannot guarantee that any of the items are nut-free. Please ask a member of staff for further details.

Do you serve throughout the evening?

Most food is only served prior to the performance although puddings are available at the interval. Food service ends 15 minutes prior to the performance. To allow you sufficient time to take your seats, the bar staff are asked to stop serving five minutes prior to the performance. You are welcome to take drinks in to the auditorium but we ask that you do not eat during the performance.
