Kids Week workshops

By Open Air Theatre

Last week, as part of our Kids Week workshop Unlocking the Dream, students were given a backstage pass to unlock the secrets of our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Led by Richard Walker (Technical Stage Manager) and George Bukhari (Bottom, A Midsummer Night’s Dream), the workshop even included trying on the ass’s head!

Our Kids Week activities also included a movement workshop led by Shimi Goodman (Ensemble, Ragtime the Musical), where students explored physical metamorphosis, looking at how an actor transforms from one character to another.

Kids week will end on 31 August so it is your last chance to book to see Ragtime the Musical or A Misdummer Night’s Dream (suitable for ages 11+) and bring a child absolutely free!*

Book now or call 0844 248 5151

*Two additional children (per transaction) can also get half price tickets if accompanied by a full paying adult!
