Evita Receives 8 WhatsOnStage Award Nominations

We are delighted that Evita has been nominated for 8 WhatsOnStage Awards – which is the most award nominations we have ever received for a production:

Best Musical Revival Best Direction (Jamie Lloyd) Best Choreography (Fabian Aloise) Best Musical Direction (Alan Williams) Best Set Design (Soutra Gilmour) Best Lighting Design (Jon Clark) Best Sound Design (Nick Lidster) And for the poster…Best Graphic Design (FEAST Creative).

The production went on to win the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Direction for Jamie Lloyd, who also won Best Director in the Critics Circle Award, and the production won the Evening Standard Award for Best Musical. Evita was due to transfer to the Barbican in 2020, however this was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
