About a Tree

By Open Air Theatre

To celebrate creativity found in a local park, the Royal Parks Foundation joined us at the theatre on 9 September to host About a Tree; an evening of short films, music and art inspired by Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill.

The evening consisted of a showcase of work created by local children, teenagers and older people including short films, music and art, as well as a workshop led by the Philharmonia Orchestra before the event. The workshop enabled children to create music inspired by The Royal Parks to be performed during the evening’s showcase.

Created with the Royal Parks Foundation’s education team and in partnership with the Philharmonia Orchestra, About a Tree was a huge success, inspiring people of all ages to be creative in amongst the beautiful setting of Regent’s Park.
