At this year’s star-studded Laurence Olivier Awards at the Royal Opera House, Crazy for You was awarded Best Musical Revival. This unparalleled hat trick achievement follows our previous successes with Into the Woods (winner 2011) and Hello, Dolly! (winner 2010).
In a double celebration for the production, Peter McKintosh took
Best Costume Design.
Following its five-star run at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and a subsequent West End transfer, Crazy for You played a total of 30 weeks, was seen by 115,000 people and took over £5million at the box office.
Our 2012 season opens on 18 May with the Tony-award winning musical Ragtime.
