The Open Air Theatre is managed by the Regent's Park Theatre Ltd, which is a registered charity. As a not-for-profit organisation receiving no public subsidy, our work is entirely funded by our operating activities.

Therefore additional revenue raised through donations, sponsorship and the Membership/Patrons’ Schemes is absolutely vital and greatly appreciated.

  • A donation of just £30 would be the equivalent of 10 litres of scenic paint or an accessory to a costume such as a sword belt or the covering of an umbrella.
  • A donation of £500 would be the equivalent of lighting gels for one production.
  • A donation of £3,000 would be the equivalent of two new principal ladies dresses with shoes, all completely weather proofed!

Some FAQs

Do you accept CAF cheques?

Yes, we can accept CAF cheques for donations. We cannot accept them as payment to join our Membership or Patrons' schemes or to purchase tickets.

Are you a registered charity?

Yes. We are registered as a charity, number 231670, for the promotion of arts and culture.

Does the theatre receive any public subsidy?

No. Approximately 85% of our income is generated at the box office.
