In partnership with Mousetrap Theatre Projects, we are offering a relaxed performance of 101 Dalmatians on Sunday 14 August at 2.15pm. Relaxed performances are designed to provide those with learning disabilities, those who are on the autism spectrum or have other sensory and communication needs who would benefit from a more relaxed environment, the opportunity to experience the production.
The aim is to offer a supportive, understanding and welcoming atmosphere for all. If you find that the environment of the theatre becomes overwhelming, we will have special arrangements in place to make your theatre experience as enjoyable as possible.
How a Relaxed Performance differs
- Adjustments are made to the sound and lighting in the show;
- Normal rules of theatregoing do not apply, such as having to keep quiet or sit still;
- There will be a designated chill out zone outside the auditorium, in case you need to take a break during the performance;
- Our fully-trained staff and volunteers are there to help and support you throughout the event; and
- We provide free support resources to help families prepare for their theatre visit.
Who can attend a relaxed performance?
Our Relaxed Performance is open to anyone, although please note that children under the age of 4 will not be admitted to the venue.
We will offer you the most suitable seat for you and your companion, but will only charge you Price Band D (£25); for those U18, we also offer a 50% concession on tickets, so U18 access tickets are £12.50.
