Published 13 July 2022

To prepare for the forthcoming proposed train strikes, here are some alternative suggestions on how to travel to the theatre. We recommend that you check your specific services just ahead of your visit, and allow plenty of time for your journey.

BY CAR

Parking is free on the Inner Circle, Chester Road and Outer Circle after 6.30pm. Please note that there is a 20mph speed limit on the Inner and Outer Circles in Regent's Park.

At all other times, Pay and Display rates are as follows:

70p for 15 mins, Monday - Saturday, 9am - 6.30pm (with a maximum staying time of four hours)
50p for 15 mins, Sunday and Bank Holidays, 9am - 6.30pm (with a maximum staying time of ten hours)

You can pay using coins, debit card or contactless (£2.40 min cc payment).

Disabled badge holders and motorcycles park free of charge.

Coaches are not permitted in the Inner Circle (with the exception of school coaches – please contact education@openairtheatre.com to request a permit).

As with anywhere in central London, please ensure you do not leave valuables on display in your car.

The theatre is outside the central London congestion charging zone. For details of how the charge may affect your journey, please visit www.cclondon.com or call 0845 900 1234.

NCP CAR PARKS

Our closest NCP Car Park is in Marylebone. More information.

BY BIKE

Bicycles should be brought into the theatre grounds, where a bike rack is available. Cycling is not permitted within Queen Mary's Garden. The park gates are locked during the performance so please do not leave bikes outside the theatre.

There is a Santander Cycle Hire Station next to the tennis courts on York Bridge. For more information on hiring a bicycle please visit TFL's cycling page.
